Sharp AR-208D copier needs developer - how to add?

Brand new-came without toner or developer. No directions in manual or online about how to add the developer. Meanwhile, all blank copies, we have to get our copies to the accountant to get our taxes filed on time. YIKES! Can anyone help? Thanks!

No, they sent the printer cartridge and a separate bag of developer. I've been on chat sessions over an hour and they can't figure it out, either. Also called Sharp, but they don't support this model. All of the copies are blank!

That's not true. The toner cartridge for this model doesn't contain the developer.
I contacted a sales woman in California. She sent me a diagram, which solved my problem. You have to unscrew an aqua colored screw in a tray under the toner cartridge, pull out the tray, pour the black powdery developer in and turn a knob attached to a corkscrew looking trough to get the developer distributed. It's finally working.

the toner cartridge has both toner and developer in it, double check that everything is properly installed, there is not a separate thing for developer

Set-up for this copier sure isn't well-documented. We just got ours working today, found out how to add the toner by following the instructions here: https://www.businessneedz.com/Manuals/ar168s_setup.pdf (yes, it lists a different model number, but the instructions worked, and were linked from the ar-208d product page from the supplier)

Newly installed Sharp AR-5320E not copying

That is because you need to put in some developer. This acts as a carrier for the toner. AR202ld is what you need

Sharp copier ar-5316

That unit uses an AR-016TD Toner/Developer Cartridge. The developer is changed each time you replace the toner. To remove the drum unit open the right side cover, then the front cover, remove the TD cartridge, loosen the green screw on the front of the developer unit housing just above the TD slot. carefully remove the DV unit without tipping or you will spill out the existing DV. Then you can pull out the drum unit. There may be a green screw on the drum that must be loosened but I don't think so on that particular model. Installation is the reverse of removal.
