I received a 3Com 3102 phone with R5.3.0 software on it but our system only has R5.0.25 software. How can I roll back the software on the phone? It is currently in a continuous reboot.
Add the NBX's IP and mac address to phone. Also static it on the same subnet.
It will go through about three long reboots.
If it doesn't work change the NBX to anything but "ethernet only" and reboot it. Then reboot phone with the above settings.

The phone is in a continuous because it is trying to connect to the NBX. You need to make sure it is on the same network as the NBX. Also, within the NBX you need to make sure Auto-Discovery is enabled. You also need to check how many group 2 licenses you have, as this phone requires one to run on the NBX.
