It depends on the phone. SOme phones allows total blocking of contacts while others only block calls. You may have to test this with a friend to see what level of blocking your phone supports. If it is a smarphone, you may need an app that allows blocking if your phone does not do it the way you wish

To block your number for a one time call, dial *67 before calling. To block for every call, you need to call your carrier.

please follow the steps carefully

1. Step 1 Call the T-Mobile customer service phone number located on your phone bill. Tell them you would like to hear about T-Mobile's call blocking service. The customer service then tells you how you can block all the calls coming from your T-Mobile cell phone by adding this service to your plan. When you select this service, anytime you dial a number from your T-Mobile cell phone, the number will come up Restricted on the call receiver's caller ID.
   
2. Step 2 Dial *67 prior to any number on your T-Mobile phone that you want to block, if you want to just block one call at a time and choose which numbers you dial are blocked. This is another way you can call someone and to have it appear as a Restricted call on the other end.
   
3. Step 3 Program your T-Mobile phone to block all calls to any one individual. Do this by tapping Add a Contact on your T-Mobile phone. Type in the name of the person you want to call. Then tap Add Phone Number. Punch in *67 then the number.
   
4. Step 4 Tap the person's name to call him, when you have the person's number programmed into your phone with the *67 first. Every time you tap the person's name, you will be calling him from a blocked number.

I can help you with that, if you dial *67 and then the phone number, for example ( *67-715-392-0123 ) it should block your phone number from comeing up on caller id...........Hope this helps........

if you want to block your own number dial *67 before you dial... to block someone else try dialing

To activate Call Block or add a telephone number to the rejection list, dial *60. If you dont know the number to be blocked, dial *60 immediately after hanging up from the call. To turn off Call Block, dial *80. Call Block cannot block calls from some cellular phones, pay phones or business lines. It also cannot block most long distance numbers.

Call blocking apps let you create blacklists - lists of numbers to block from calling your cell phone. I like using LEO Privacy, it's very safe and makes me free. Usually to permanently unblock the number, you need to contact your phone service provider and ask them to unblock your number. You can then block it per call if wanted by dialing *67 before dialing the number.

I think you were asking about how to reject incoming calls, but if you were asking about blocking your own caller id there is another way.

Under settings -> Phone -> all calls - > caller ID

here you can set your caller id to be given to everyone, only people in your contacts or no one!
