I just purchased this phone brand new this week. The front display will light up for a max of 7 seconds before going blank. I took the phone back to the store and was told that it was suppose to do that. The phone gives you the option to select wallpaper for that screen but when you do it does not show. So I know its something wrong with the screen.

I see that you have recently purchased a Frigidaire dehumidifier and the display is not working properly. When you returned the original appliance did they test it in store to see if it worked? Are you using any type of extension cord or surge protector on the appliance? With this additional information I can better assist you. -Matt
You can certainly purchase after market bulbs of more modern technology that provide much better illumination than the manufacturer recommended brand. HOWEVER, those bulbs having a matching part number to what is recommended does NOT mean it is what you should necessarily use. The reason is the wattage. Higher wattage produces more heat. Try a bulb of a lower wattage rating. I recommend going no higher than 20 watts beyond your original rating, do not allow the bulb glass to get dirty while installing nor touch with your bare fingers, and inspect your ground connections to the headlight assembly for any breakage, corrosion or looseness. Is it a new genuine cart? If so, I have had this problem. Run multiple copies of black only text, Run 50 copies, will still spit out blank pages.Then head clean. If no black repeat. I did this for around 200-250 copies then Volia! black. Hope this helps
There is usualy no certain way to tell whats to blame on a bad phone without testing, but in your case I think that it is your phone that is malfunctioning. A low/bad battery either doesn't turn on or if it does it will at leat allow the phone to go on and then displays low battery before shutting off.
If you are out of warranty period, then you can easily flash this phone fo much cheaper than purchasing a new one. I would ecoment that you first take it o a repair place to be examined.
Lots of appliance makers include a 1 800 number with the paperwork that comes with an appliance.
I would try to find that number and call them. They owe you a replacement unit. If you can't find the number do a Google search for Waring and they should have a tel number and/or a "contact us" place to send and email.

with strange anomalies, it is sometimes best to clean the system.
Suggest you go back to factory default settings by unplugging each phone for about 10 seconds then re-connect. also with main phone switch off power for 10 seconds and switch back on.
