Strong amonia smell at back

The smell is Freon, I would replace the unit. The cost to repair is usually 50% or more of the cost of a new one. Once the Freon goes the compressor usually goes with it.

Cadet 3 toilet smells like pee - NOT a SEWER smell, a urine smell. It's a brand new toilet, installed by our contractor. There's a brand new extra thick wax ring too. The room smells like urine when nobody...

If your contractor supplied the toilet, then it is his/her problem, not yours. If you supplied the toilet, then: take a mirror and examine under the lip of the bowl. How does the glazing look? Are there areas without glaze? If so, these bare areas are a breeding ground for bad odors. You can try a thorough cleaning both inside the bowl and around the outside of the toilet with an amonia cleaning product. If you use amonia, DO NOT use bleach: the two combined create a deadly gas. Whatever you do, do not hang a bleach based product inside the tank: the bleach will eat away at anything rubber inside the tank. There is a bleach product that hangs inside the tank and disperses the bleach directly into the tube that leads to the toilet bowl. This would be OK.

Hi, We have had this dryer for about 3 years and no problems at all until now, after moving it so we could decorate we moved the dryer back into the same position but this time with something next to it,...

Darren; there are very few things that can cause the smell of amonia/urine in a dryer. Other than some animal accessing the unit and dieing in it.

The one item in the unit that could cause that smell is the starting capacitor, if it goes bad and start oozing the electrolitic that often smells like amonia. But that is not a very common result, so I hestitate telling you it is worth tearing your unit apart to look for.

Is there any chance that an animal did die in the cabinet?

Had a strong Amonia smell. Fridge wants to turn on but no cooling.

Strong Ammonia smell is dead give away for LEAK. Ammonia is the chief ingredient in the absorption type cooing system. Probably not economical to repair. For a second opinion, contact a Dometic Authorized Service Center.

Ticking Noise at Startup

Possibly a leaking hydraulic lifter. They can leak down while engine isn't running and then make a ticking noise for a while on startup. If it takes 10-15 minutes to go away, it is more likely to be a loose tappet which needs adjusting.
