Jandy RS 6 panel not working. After pressing reset button, all lights on panel come on and there is no effect from press panel buttons. panel reads "Rev 6700 C." Have pulled out red 4-wire panel connector to system and no change. Pool and heater work if I use outside controls. What do think is wrong?

see if hooked up with 4 wire from heater to aqualink if so try checking wires for one loose or off if ok try to use the firemans swith to pins 1 and 2 then heater button will work

If youre out at the equipment controller and push the button to switch from auto to service and it doesnt work, it usually means you need a new board. Theres a reset button on the outdoor controller, look to make sure it wasnt pressed and got stuck. If that looks ok, then the board should be replaced, buy an iaqualink instead of your replacement board, it is backwards compatible, meaning all of your existing controllers will still work, but it gives you internet/iphone/android control capability as well.

I would suspect a bad relay.

Go to the outside power center located at the equipment. Press the mode button until the "Service" light is on. Now press the filter pump button. Turn it off and on several times to make sure the relay is working correctly. If not, replace the relay.

If this is not the problem then I would reset the board at the power center by pressing the recessed "Reset" button with the tip of a pencil or pen.

If this does not work, you could call Jandy and have them flash your board with the newest software.

The circuit internally have gone short.There are many other facing this same problem.Some have got this indoor panel dead due to moisture collected on the indoor panels circuit board.The panel is not very strong to handle the humidity effect.It gets short. Check the inside and outside low voltage wiring connecting the control panel. Take inside panel to the outside panel and hook up. You might have a bad wire.
