Ihave error 74 one red light any way to fix my warrenty is out boys realy love it cant buy new one please help

for the one that randomly freezes. have you treid using it without the hard drive? if yes and it happens to all games then you have to send it to microsoft. if it does not freeze when the hard drive is out then it just have something to do with the memory on certain games or the gamer profile. for the one with e74, if it still has that without the hard drive then you should send it to microsoft nad you have a 3 year warranty for that,.

There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement. Also try this take the AV cable, plug it out and plug it in, if it still doesn't work unplug it, wipe the metal part with a soft cloth then plug it in. That might help.

this is bad because you need to call 1800myxbox and they will fix it in a about a 2 weeks they will send it back fixed the same thing happened to me.thts the only way to get it fixed
