I have cleaned up kitchen and bathroom ceilings with a weak solution of bleach and water (1:20). Increasing it a bit a couple of times but being mindful strong bleach is not good for the health

SOURCE: wiring ceiling fans to wall switch

Hi Bigelow,

You need two switches.  It sounds like the Electrician set up the junction box for two circuits(Lights and Fans).  i say this because your supply has 4 wires, Red , Black, White and Bare. We may be able to oversome this with one Lutron Switch. Allow me to investigate, and I will be back.

SOURCE: installation of wall remote for harbor breeze ceiling fans

One black wire on the switch hooked to the black sources wire. The other black wire on the switch hooked black up to the fan. The green on the switch wire goes to the bare wire. If there is bare wire you can use the white wire.

Why my Hunter Ceiling Fan does not work?

Its unlikely that the fan is on a separate feed from the breaker box than the rest of the outlets in your room but you never know. It would not hurt to check all of your breakers. If the fan and its light are controlled by the same wall switch then the wall switch may have went bad. Within the fan there are separate wires for the fan and the light so both of them would not go out at the same time. It makes more sense that the problem is at your wall switch.

I have constructed a hall for the purpose of meetings. But now there is too much of echoing within the hall. even without loud speakers. With loud speakers, it gets worse. How solve this problem of echoing

Excessive room echo is caused primarily by two things - hard surfaces and high ceilings. The worst materials are glass, marble and concrete block. Next to this is drywall. The more hard surfaces you have, the worse the echo will be. For example an entirely drywall room is much worse than one with drywall walls and an acoustic tile ceiling. The sound simply bounces from the back wall, to the front, to the ceiling, to the floor, back to the walls, floor, ceiling and so on. The solution of course is to reduce the amount of hard surface area. You need to coat the wall with some sort of acoustical wall treatment. Carpet on the walls will work or you can purchase materials for that purpose. How much to install and how much area to cover will require experimentation. There are many choices and this is just one.

Install a second DuoTherm A/C in a fifth wheel travel trailer.

You do not without removing wall board. You can do a nice neat job of white conduit on the outside of the wall and ceiling. I have done it and my customers are happy with it.
