The 4 position switch dial is broken. I would like another

I have a Corningware 6-quart slow cooker with Corningware pot and Pyrex lid.  I use it often and cant seem to find a resource for the piece I need.  When I called the customer service number in my manual it was for hair care products and they had no idea what I was talking about. Is there a web site to order products from Corningware? lynn

This is not a replaceable part . thats why you cannot find it . the base is made in china and only imported as a finshed unit , there are no parts in the usa

Broken pifco 4851 3 ltr basin
The original pot should be a 3 quart white Corningware A-3-B with a clear Pyrex A-9-C lid. The modern equivalent in a 3 litre pot, both are available in the USA where they are made. Search 'Corningware A-3-B' for what's available.

Believe or not, go to your local Goodwill Store! They have tons of crocks and the lids and the cookers separate frm each other that have been donated becase one of the pieces was broken and they donated the rest of the pieces. Lids and crocks typically range from $1.99 to $5.99 and you benefit your community at the same time.

Call directory assistance for the 800 # for Corningware, and ask for customer service. Give them the model number and they will ship a new lid, or tell you where to get one locally.
