Wanna sell your lid? I broke my sisters at a family reunion and I hate to leave her with half a cooker.

I have a broken crock on a Corningware electrics model sc-5038c, and am having trouble finding a replacement
I also have a broken crock for my corningware slow cooker (model SC-somethingorather). With everyhting you can purchase on line these days, this dilemma shouldn't be that difficult. Anyway, here's what I did. I went to Shopko yesterday and bought a brand new Rival, 5.5 qt slow cooker with removable crock and a hinged lid. It's a dandy! I actually like it better than my other one because of the shape. Here's the best part kiddies, it was on sale for $19.99!!! Even if I could find a replacement crock for my old one, which I can't seem to do, I'm sure by the time I paid whatever it cost, plus shipping and handling, it wouldn't be less than $20. Everything is so "disposable" these days. If it's more than 2 years old, like mine was-FORGET ABOUT IT. Go buy a new one. SJP
