SOURCE: Dell 3100n keeps saying "Change Black Toner" even

Are you trying to use a refilled toner cartridge or a third party toner cartridge, if so, that is more than likely your failure.

If, however, you are using a Dell cartridge, then contact Dell and tell them you have 2 defective cartridges.

Dell 3100n keeps saying "Change Black Toner" even

Before installing a new toner, put a disposable towel over the ink toner exit, and shake your toner lightly back and forth and up and down. Make sure your toner cartridge is in the open position before replacing it in your printer.

If you are using a refillable ink cartridge, make sure you are resetting the cartridge using the method described by the refillable manufacturer.

If this does not answer your question please request more information before voting on my answer. I will try to find more information about your toner cartridge that will help you futher.

You could be getting this problem if using refilled inkjet cartridge. Try replacing cartridge and see if message clears.

Office jet 5510 keeps saying wrong black cartridge.

Look on the right side where the cartridge goes, if the spring on the right is hanging loose it might have poked a hole in the ribbon cable at the rear near the contacts. If so it's time for a new printer, if OK, check the exp. date on the ink cartridge and if it's been refilled or a generic ink you may just need another one.

I have a Canon MulitPass MP730. Wrong Cartridge message.

It's worth repairing, That error on a Canon is saying that the printhead is bad, not your cartridges. The part number for your printhead is stamped on the side of the printhead could be QY6-0049-000 but I'm not sure.

Put new cartridge in but error light keeps coming on even after reboot how do i fix this?

Remove the cartridge and put it in again.
If it has a reset button, push that.
If you have "refilled" your cartridge the answers will be different. Did you?

Ink Cartridge Error

on your cartridges there is a chip that detects if the ink is low. The chip on your yellow cartridge is bad. You should return the cartridge for a new one(if you still have your receipt) or visit a Cartridge World in your area and they can put a new chip on for you

Cartridge

Chances are the new cartridge is defective.
Check the expiration date on the cartridge, and even if it is not expired, I would suspect the cartrigde is bad, dried out, not allowing the ink to lower.
That is the most frequent issue with your problem
