Issues with the cartridge are other causes for trouble in your printer. If you have not used your printer for a pretty long time, there's chance for the ink in the cartridge to get solidified, ending up in its damage. The issue could also be caused due to the lack of ink in the cartridges. In order to resolve the issue, you might ensure that you are not keeping your printer idle for very long periods. You could also check its ink level.

Dear all,
I will try to help you. Paper jam error may be caused by some possibilities. So, please notice this indication:
- If the printer status is READY immediately after Power ON then Paper Jam Error message appears while feeding the paper: Sheet Feeder Unit is faulty or any other material (such as broken paper) present inside paper path blocking paper end to reach paper feed sensor.
- If Paper Jam Error messages appears immediately after Power ON: Paper feed sensor or logic board is faulty
Corrective action:
- Remove the material from paper path
- Replace Sheet Feeder Unit
- Replace Paper Feed Sensor / Logic Board
Please rate me as Fixya if you find this useful for you. Thanks.

There is probably dirt on the rollers or on the paper carrier. You could try running the printer through a self clean first. Go into the printer settings, menu, locate self cleaning and press that.

The absorber needs to replaced in a shop. # QY5-0240-000, A shop needs to do it because they have the software to reset the error, after the absorber is replaced.

Hey I had the same problem. Called the company; we couldn't fix it. Well I turned it upside down and a 2" flower stem fell out from when I cut some flowers next to my desk. It still didn't work. I was examining the feed area while it was running and I found another little piece of stem that was lodged way in there. I had to get it out with tweasers and it turned out to be 1" long. Couldn't really see it at all. Works fine now.

Make sure you remove the protective tape from cartridge(s). If it's been removed, try running 'nozzle clean' or 'deep clean' (for that cartridge). You can find this in 'Printer properties' on 'Maintenance' page.

If catridge is in reach of your fingers then pull it back otherwise you have to open the chasis screw of the printer and pull out upper cover and rotate the belt and you can then make printer workable

To solve the
printing problem..
# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the
bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel.
# Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the
cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead
horizontally in one direction only (left to right).
# Continue doing this until it looks clean.
# Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure
the ink is flowing.
# Next, look inside the printer and locate the
carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not
installed at this point.
1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the
contacts at the back of the carrier.
2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and
wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than
one swab.
# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap
them correctly into the printer.
Hope this help. Please
