Turn on your iRiver device.
hold the center button in until you see the screen is at the FM, Recording, Browse or Settings. These are accessable by left and right directions.
Once you are at the Recording option, quick tap the center button. And then press the record button on the top of the device. The Stop/Play, A-B buttons are also on top next to the record button.
You may need to be sure the headphones are disconnected.
