I have a RCA VR5320R digital voice recorder. My voice recordings are stored on the recorder, under folder "A," but when I attach the recorder to my computer, eventhough the device shows up under "my computer," the voice recording files (A/B/C/D) no longer appear on the RCA digital voice manager software screen. This problem started after I tried to copy and save the voice files from the device to my hard drive using the RCA digital voice manager software. I also cannot find the copied voice files anywhere on my hard drive.

You need to know what extension is on them such as .wav or .voc. If they are not .wav and Windows Media Player won't play the extension you have, then you might need to convert them using something like AVS audio converter - there were several converters on the web and some are free. This is assuming that you put your comment here because you had a similar problem as the originator. Even if you cannot download from the VR-5520 you should be able to use the software to play them.
