The solution to this one is simple. Goto to the monitor that does not match and match it through the front panel settings. Also I would check to see if both are set exactly alike in the windows hardware settings.

The white screen is caused by a total lack of control over all pixels.
The opposite effect; all black, happens when a failure turns all pixels on, blocking all but a small amount of light.
This could have more than one source; one output of the power supply has failed so the logic section no longer is receiving supply voltage or an external source has damaged the video input of the monitor.
The backlight responsible for the white screen is obviously working as this is a separate power supply output to an inverter that powers the backlight lamp.
I'm afraid this is not a DIY repair.

Fade to white might be caused by a bad or open connection to the backplane or bias voltage setting of the LCD. Check the connectors and cables between the LCD and the main board. Also, look for loose or disconnected ground wires.
