Error on CDJ500s 72 01 and 82 01

Unfortuneately you should have replaced the whole laser pickup assembly, they come pre-aligned eliminating special test equpment that would be required when single part replacements are done.

Hi, if you mean the fault occurs in the cdj vinyl mode and your cd dosent play... then it sounds like your jog wheel sensor membrane. but would have to be checked firstly by an engineer.

Hi Marcelo. I´m from Brazil, same CDJ-700s, same problem as yours. From what I´ve researched until now, DWY 1067 an DWY1069 ARE NOT FULLY INTERCHANGABLE on CDJ-700s and maybe 500s. I think some newer 700s already came out with 1069 from factory, so this is why all this misunterstanding. On older 700s that came out with 1067, some SMD components must be changed in the mainboard in order to 1069 work properly. Mine came ou with 1067, I´ve replaced it with a 1069, didn´t worked well (sound skipped, or didn´t play at all).

In 2001 Pioneer released a replacement kit for this situation. The kit is named GXX1200, and includes the optical unit (DWY1069) which is included in the whole mechanical unit (DXXsomething, depends on model), and SMD resistors and capacitors for replacement. Dirty job, I know...

Since I already bought the replacement 1069´s, I´ll buy the SMD components too. I´ll let you know if will this work. Not an easy task, but I´ll try.

The only way of solving this is to bring it to repair shop and get a replacement screen.

Not hard at all. Just have to open her up. I would suggest purchasing the service manual, which has instructions on doing this and useful for other repairs, as well as parts list, and parts diagrams.

9103 error is a traverse assembly issue. Unfortunately, there is no easy fix for this. You will have to take it to a service center for repair. They will in turn replace the Traverse assembly, or find out why it's giving this error. If the traverse assembly is replaced, they will also have to calibrate the unit according to Pioneer specs.

More than likely you have a damaged CD transport, or needs to be calibrated or professionally cleaned. I would suggest taking it to a service center.

Any error codes??? you must provide some more info... is the screen blank? When you are trying to insert a cd do you hear any noise from the mechanism?
