The pitch faders do fail but usually they just become erratic rather than give up completely.
I think the most likley problem is a crack on the pitch circuit board or problems caused by moisture getting collected on the pitch controller board.Clean the board, dry solder whole board. Then check.-------- Check out.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

The platter seems to be
yes you can get it fixed but it may cost you. If it is still under warranty then take it back to the shop and get a replacement. If the warranty has run out then you'll have to get it fixed. There are official pioneer repair centers but they aren't that hard to fix though so if you look up local audio repair place or sound technician you'll probably find someone that can do it close to you. Good Luck!

My cds are not being read they are just being
Does the player make an attempt to read the disk? or does it reject the disk immediately without reading it? If it does make an attempt then it could be that the format of the disk isn't correct if the disk comes out soon after you insert it then there is a problem with the player and it could be that the lens is damaged or a mechanical issue

My pitch slider isn't functioning on my pioneer
Take off the slider from the main board and clean it with IPA solution, blow dry it take care not to scratch the carbon strip inside after that apply a very small speck of petroleum jelly or mechanism grease, used by technicians on the movable mechanical parts and you may get it working again. If you have the patience and the knack of doing it urself go ahead. If not order a new slider ( send the details correctly including the size and ohms rating) and replace it. After all pitch bending should not keep changing if you are a DJ so a new one would be most feasible in your case.
