Question about Pioneer CDJ-1000MKII CD Player

2 Answers

Pioneer CDJ-800MKII not reading or ejecting disk. used "key" located underneath cdj to do an emergency eject. now cdj will not accept cd's. can someone PLEASE help me fix this issue?? I am very handy and can probably get in there and fix it myself with some guidance. I'm thinking its a laser calibration issue... not reading the cd correctly. you can email me or call me. 561-212-0448. Has to be fixed in the next few days... I have multiple dj gigs in South Beach this weekend. Thanx.

Hi, if this cdj 800 mk2 is not loading or it keeps ejecting discs i would suggest you contact your local pioneer repair agent as this is a common fault with the players at the moment and there is a fix for it but you need a special jig to set up a laser replacement and only the pioneer agents have this jig or your player needs a software update but the software update is done via a cdr disc in your case your player isnt reading discs at all so its likely you need a laser pick-up replacement. hope this helps you. regards. paul.

CD keep ejecting when inserted

99% laser module is faulty.
if u try to push your cd and it returning it or your cd stuck inside and it stating no disk, find a new laser and replace it.
