It is not your Picture tubes that are bad, it is your Convergence IC's. The IC # to use is STK392-180. These are better than the originals, also invest in these resistors: 1.5 ohm 1w,,,1.8 ohm 1w,,,2.2 ohm 1w. (watt). I would by 4 each. Your soldering skills will come into play so roll up your sleeves and go to work.....Good luck ! and let me know how you do.
Make sure your component cables are fully seated in the TV jacks, and also in the source (cable box, dvd, etc). Sound's like you are missing the green signal.
