A thermal limiter is a safety switch designed to keep a dryer from overheating, by either shutting off the heating element or the dryer itself if activated. They don't normally need replacing (unless you know your dryer overheated and activated it). If you have no heat in your dryer, chances are you have a bad heating element--the most common dryer problem

Maytag Bravos MEDB835DC4. I replaced heating element and thermostat, also the High Limit. Removed all connections without marking and thought I would be right back at it but has been a while.

Question edited for clarity and accurate names of parts.
Question moved from Cars and Trucks to Maytag Bravos.

Sometimes you will find a circuit diagram in a plastic bag hidden in the machine somewhere.. They are not normally available online.

The video should show you the replacement of all your parts. Pause to see the wiring.

Why maytag bravos keeps blowing thermal-fuse

Lots of videos here about that problem.
maytag dryer thermal fuse replacement YouTube
Which thermal fuse. The one on the heater or the one on the lint filter housing? If it was the one on the heater did you replace the thermostat too.
Is the dryer vent blocked, has too many elbows, or too long or otherwise restricted, or is the dryer overloaded.

The thermostat is controlling the temperature, however the Heating Coil may be defective. Check the COIL.

Matag dryer not heating

Here is a link to maytag dryer repairs http://apcoappliancerepair.wordpress.com/?s=maytag+dryer . The most common problem is the thermal fuse. My question is. Does the heating element start to light. If not...... and you have changed the ignitor and thermal fuse. Then check the flame sensor to see if there is continuity threw it. Power to the gas coils and ignitor runs threw the flame sensor. CLICK HERE to see a flame sensor on a GE dryer. They are the same on most units but Maytag will be on the opposite side of burner chamber.

No power

The Thermal fuse could have gone bad. It comes as a kit with the hi-limit thermostat. Here's the link to the thermal fuse kit:
