The needle is bent, the rest of cartridge etc. is fine. I'm not sure what I need to buy. If it's possible to just replace the needle or the whole cartridge?

try changing the needle rethread the machine top & bobbin it is also possible that the machine could be out of time & needs to be checked at a repair shop
check to make sure that all the broke needle has been removed make sure there is no part of the broken needle in the bobbin area try putting in a new needle & see if the machine will sew make sure the bobbin is not damaged it's very possible since the needle broke the machine could have jumped time I suggest to have the machine checked to see if the broken needle caused any damage to the machine
since a needle broke, & a new needle was put in, was the needle inserted correctly, normally flat side to the back of the machine, & pushed all the way into the needle holder rethread the machine top & bobbin make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case. if none of these suggestions help, then it's possible that when the needle broke it could have caused the machine to jump time & would have to be checked at a sewing machine shop
for a manual try elna customer service as for the needle, check to see if it's inserted correctly in the needle holder the needle must be pushed all the way up into the needle holder-- the flat side goes to the back side of the machine you also mentioned that you broke a needle, when a needle is broken some times it can cause the machine to go out of time, which means it has to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop & be retimed,, and it needs to be serviced.
if you have the headshell left with the 4 little wires hanging out then you will need a complete cartridge. turntableneedles dot com/Half-Inch-Standard-Mount_c_49632.html if you have the cartridge part then it's still good and you only require a new needle. Type your cartridge number into the search window at the above website.

per the numark site this table was sold without a cartridge so it could have almost anything installed. To find the right needle will depend on the cartridge currently installed. Presuming it came with a cartridge from ebay, try to find any part numbers on it and get back to me. If there is no cartridge then you will need a complete cartridge presuming you have 4 wires hanging out the end of the tonearm from the headshell.
I don't suggest using the originals that came with the turntables, as they aren't of the greatest quality. For a small investment (about $50), you can get some better quality cartridges/needles.
