for a manual try elna customer service as for the needle, check to see if it's inserted correctly in the needle holder the needle must be pushed all the way up into the needle holder-- the flat side goes to the back side of the machine you also mentioned that you broke a needle, when a needle is broken some times it can cause the machine to go out of time, which means it has to be taken to a sewing machine repair shop & be retimed,, and it needs to be serviced.
I have a White Superlock 534,the needle broke and I tried to change the needle and lost the screw,it is so tiny I cant find it,is their any way I can buy the same tiny screw.I like to have 2 needles.
I hate to tell you but there is no felt or fuzzy area, what you are seeing is lint and thread under the throat plate. Take out the screws and clean out that area, you will be surprised how much is there and how much better your machine will work. You may have cleaned the hook and shuttle area but not underneath. Also, oil your machine as per your manual.
Wow, talk about rambling solutions to a simple question ... Brooklyn35, go to a place that sells sewing machine needles and buy some, period, end of story. All home sewing machines for the last 50 years (not sergers) take the same needles, the best quality needles are Schmetz brand, they are stronger, sew better, and last longer than cheap ones.
Extra needles came in the accessory bag. Just unscrew the screw above the presser foot, remove the old needle and put in a new one. These are common sewing machine needles, but the LS2125 will also handle dual needles. There are numerous videos online that show how to do this.
I usually use Kenmore needles. I bought my machine through Sears and was told the needles were compatible. Otherwise I get the appropriate size for my fabric weight at JoAnn Fabric. As long as it has a flat back it will work fine.
