There should be a tensioning knob on the left side of the slider. You should be able to tighten this tension knob and keep the slider from slipping down the bar. If you need further help feel free to contact me Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough.

Hi there. We have the same problem. It isn't that the holder slides up and down the vertical rods that is the problem, it is that the shower head itself flops towards us when no water is coming out. The swivel needs to be tighter but it isn't obvious how to tighten it. If anyone has a solution could they send it to [email protected] please

Grab a wrench and give it at least a quarter-turn. Hand tight isn't enough with a shower, even with teflon tape.

Adjust hot water on hansgrohe metro shower

The hand shower and wall bar does not control temp. The valve in the wall would control the temperature of the water going to the shower. I would need to be able to identify the model number of the valve in the wall to be able to give accurate instructions on temperature adjustment. If you need help identifying this valve feel free to give me a call at Hansgrohe 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough

Leaks around the edges

The most common cause of this symptom is water deposits building up in the face of the shower head. This will cause the unit to express water around the edges of the hand shower. The first thing to try is cleaning the hand shower with CLR. Remove it from the hose and soak the spray face in the solution for no more than ten minutes at a time. Rinse it well then reconnect to the hose and run water through it. While running rub the rubber spray channels in the face to help further break up and clear out the depsoits. Then repeat the process at least two more times to ensure you have cleared out all the deposits. If you need further help feel free to call me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for Tech and ask for David Scarborough.

Hansgrohe shower head water leaking out of connector

Is it a Grohe or Hansgrohe shower head? If it is a Hansgrohe shower head the first thing to check is if the self sealing filter gasket is installed at the connection to the shower arm. Hansgrohe shower heads have a black self sealing filter gasket in the head that some people remove assuming it is a flow restriction device. It is only a filter and does not restrict flow unless clogged with debris. Next make sure the flow restriction device below the filter gasket is still installed. On some models removing the flow restrictor will cause water to be expressed from the air injection ports near the pivot ball. Feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe. 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for Technical and ask for David Scarborough

Hansgrohe 06358620 shower not hot enough

Remove the handle by loosening the screw near the bottom. You should see a plastic ring, probably green, that is the hot water safety. Adjust it so that the handle will turn further for more hot water. It most likely pulls out, then turn it left, reinsert and reattach the handle.
