There should bea rubber gasket/washer that goes between threads on shower arm and inside of shower head. If this is a new shower head I would return it to place of purchace for exchange. If not you should be able to get the waher seperatly. If not you can get a cheap shower head and use the gasket from it. I also would recommend that you use several wraps of teflon pipe joint tape on shower arm and tighten snugly.I hop this helps you. Thank you a have a good year

That model is an integrated swivel trs 553. Take the swivel head holder off the pipe and check the o rings and nylon washers if the bracket is flopping around on the head of the pipe. I believe the nylon washer and oring need replaced. You can get those at any hardware store.

I understand that the white vac breaker end should be connected to the valve not the hand shower. FYI a little leak from this connection when the water is switched off is normal.

You need your old shower head and the new one, go to the hardware store and tell them you need a pipe adapter with a female side that fits the old one and a male side that fits the new one. They'll be able to pick it out for you.

What you're looking for is commonly called a pipe adapter or "nipple".

If your unit has a threaded connection for the handle and hose the threads are most likely stripped. You can get thread grip material at most hardware stores and repair it yourself. Otherwise replacement is necessary.
