The hand shower and wall bar does not control temp. The valve in the wall would control the temperature of the water going to the shower. I would need to be able to identify the model number of the valve in the wall to be able to give accurate instructions on temperature adjustment. If you need help identifying this valve feel free to give me a call at Hansgrohe 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough

SOURCE: I replaced a broken Hansgrohe hand shower with a

Hi Christieb942,

When you get a new hand shower you can sometimes get sediment on the federally mandated FLOW RESTRICTOR. Not screaming, that is ****** in cheek. To CHECK the Flow Restrictor for debris, look at the hose connection end of the hand shower. You will see an INSERTED part that is green, yellow, or white. We have to push that in there to satisfy the EPA requirement for flow. You can pull it OUT and rinse it off. Then connect your handshower and try it and see if it is improved. You will not void the warranty in any way by doing this. I hope you understand what I am telling you, but if not you can call me 800-334-0455. I wish I could answer more directly, but Big Brother has eyes.

Clubmaster shower not holding temperature. Hot water not coming through.

There's only there things that are clubmaster, a shower head, and two hand held sprayers.

They all spray water, they don't heat water.

Did someone install a new part, the one that's behind the wall ?

If they did, most have a safety so people don't get burnt and they need to be adjusted.

Hansgrohe shower not hot enough

The first thing to do is identify the unit so I can give accurate instructions. Hansgrohe makes many valves and the temperature adjustment between them is different. Feel free to call me at Hansgrohe at 1-800-334-0455. Press 2 for Tech and ask for David Scarborough. I'd be happy to help identify the unit and get you the instructions for the temperture adjustment.

Remove the handle by loosening the screw near the bottom. You should see a plastic ring, probably green, that is the hot water safety. Adjust it so that the handle will turn further for more hot water. It most likely pulls out, then turn it left, reinsert and reattach the handle.
