Do yall help with computers to?

When i try to print it says a firewall want let me print, I have checked everything I know about and can't get it to work. I was working last week..help

Try this solution to your problem.
Look for the speaker icon on your desktop in the right bottom portion of the sceen.
Also when you find it, RIGHT click on it, you will have two choices to make, choose and check each one of the choices to make sure that NONE of the boxes on each
choice has a checkmark in Mute,if there is a check mark then uncheck it.
NOTE:In "Open Volume control: you will find slider to adjust for volume,Wave,CD Player,etc.
After that is down, then LEFT click on the speaker icon and make sure that the slider is all the way to the top and that the Mute does not have a check mark,if it does remove the check.
If that does not work then re-install the audio driver for your computer.

Check if your printer is still connected to the same network as your computer. Refer to this article: How to Print the Network Settings Page on X4600 Series All-In-Ones (AIOs). If you the printout, check the SSID and other network information. If printer still belongs to your network, then it could be a firewall issue. Make sure to allow all Lexmark and printer communications in the program rules/permissions for your firewall. I don't think you have connected the printer as a network printer. If you have just connected the printer to the computer, the firewall will not block anything to the printer. If it says system doesn't meet min. requirements, try increasing the RAM of the computer. That will probably help!

your firewall means what your computer will allow.
go to your toolbar and point to it.
when it says pop-up blocker you put allow
thats why your printer hasn't been getting the info .

hi, after disable the firewall, pl check that no antivirus programs are blocking the port for myspaceim. try to uninstall then reboot the system, and install again. this should work.

1) Disable both firewalls and see if it prints.
2) If it prints, then it's a firewall roblem. Enable your Windows firewall first. If your printer works just leave the McAfee firewall disabled. You don't need both anyway but leave the ant-virus enabled.
3) If it doesn't print with your Windows firewall enabled, try it the other way. Windows firewall disabled, McAfee enabled.
4) If it doesn't print in any of these cases try re-installing the software for your printer.You will want to make sure that McAfee is totally disabled (anti-virus and firewall) and turn off off your Windows firewall. Here are the steps for re-installing software. If you don't have the cd let me know and I'll provide you with a link for it.
Removing and reinstalling the software
If the printer is not functioning properly, or if a communications error message appears when you try to use the
printer, you may need to remove and reinstall the printer software.

1 Click Start �� Programs or All Programs �� Lexmark 3500-4500 Series.
2 Select Uninstall.
3 Follow the instructions on the computer screen to remove the printer software.
4 Restart the computer before reinstalling the printer software.
5 Click Cancel on all New Hardware Found screens.
6 Insert the CD, and then follow the instructions on the computer screen to reinstall the software.
Note: If the install screen does not appear automatically after you restart your computer, click Start �� Run, and
then type D:\setup, where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
