Do yall help with computers to?

Tell fire wall and everything i want to play(i dont know how to fix but go somewhere with free wi-fi like a library or mcdonalds

Check if you have a firewall on the netbook and disable the firewall and see if that helps

If you go to the control panel > Sound effects ~ You should see a 'karaoke' tab. Change the value to 0 and all should be back to normal

Check if your printer is still connected to the same network as your computer. Refer to this article: How to Print the Network Settings Page on X4600 Series All-In-Ones (AIOs). If you the printout, check the SSID and other network information. If printer still belongs to your network, then it could be a firewall issue. Make sure to allow all Lexmark and printer communications in the program rules/permissions for your firewall. If printer doesn't belong the same network as your computer, then you need to reset the printer's wireless network adapter and re-launch the Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility. I don't think you have connected the printer as a network printer. If you have just connected the printer to the computer, the firewall will not block anything to the printer. If it says system doesn't meet min. requirements, try increasing the RAM of the computer. That will probably help!

The problem could be because of ONE out of FIVE problems listed below. Try the steps recommended and it should fix the problem.

• Cable Issue: It could be a possible issue with the cable. Try replacing the USB cable.
• Drivers Issue: Try uninstalling the printer drivers using the utilityhttp://ftp.us.dell.com/printer/R166248.zip .Then install the drivers from the support website. Use the link: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=PRN_ALL_A924. Also DO NOT forget to update your computer's chipset drivers before this.
  
• UAC issue: If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, a feature called User Access Control (UAC) would block the printer communication. Disable it, and it should work. Use the linkhttp://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm for tips on how to disable UAC.
• Print Spooler Service Error: Either the service is stopped or not started correctly. Try restarting the printer spooler services on your computer. For tips on how to restart the Print Spooler service, use the link: http://www.ehow.com/how_2319117_restart-print-spooler-xp.html
• Firewall Issue: Maybe your firewall is blocking the connection to your printer. Try allowing access to all applications related to Dell or printer or communication systems under Program Permissions in your Firewall program.

your firewall means what your computer will allow.
go to your toolbar and point to it.
when it says pop-up blocker you put allow
thats why your printer hasn't been getting the info .

hi, after disable the firewall, pl check that no antivirus programs are blocking the port for myspaceim. try to uninstall then reboot the system, and install again. this should work.

1) Disable both firewalls and see if it prints.
2) If it prints, then it's a firewall roblem. Enable your Windows firewall first. If your printer works just leave the McAfee firewall disabled. You don't need both anyway but leave the ant-virus enabled.
3) If it doesn't print with your Windows firewall enabled, try it the other way. Windows firewall disabled, McAfee enabled.
4) If it doesn't print in any of these cases try re-installing the software for your printer.You will want to make sure that McAfee is totally disabled (anti-virus and firewall) and turn off off your Windows firewall. Here are the steps for re-installing software. If you don't have the cd let me know and I'll provide you with a link for it.
Removing and reinstalling the software
If the printer is not functioning properly, or if a communications error message appears when you try to use the
printer, you may need to remove and reinstall the printer software.

1 Click Start �� Programs or All Programs �� Lexmark 3500-4500 Series.
2 Select Uninstall.
3 Follow the instructions on the computer screen to remove the printer software.
4 Restart the computer before reinstalling the printer software.
5 Click Cancel on all New Hardware Found screens.
6 Insert the CD, and then follow the instructions on the computer screen to reinstall the software.
Note: If the install screen does not appear automatically after you restart your computer, click Start �� Run, and
then type D:\setup, where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
