well, unless you are really really lucky and could find the same model at the local tip, you will need to ot\rder and replace the part through a repair center or parts center of sorts, quite costly

SOURCE: JVC hd-ila 61fn97. picture appears,

In your tv the image is generated this way: the bulb makes a white light; this light is split in 3; each separate beam is projected on an small LCD screen with a reflective layer below it - this way 3 separate pure colour images are created; these pure images are mixed together by some special 2-way mirrors to create the full image.
In your case the LCD for the Green is incorrectly commanded - the level for black is way too high so the blacks appear with a green tint. This is usually caused by a bad setting - see if the Tint (mainly) and Color ones from the Picture menu are correctly adjusted and they're not do them.
If even after adjusting those settings the image is still off then a professional will have to go in the service menu and adjust the base settings - in there the data aren't clearly identified and if you change something by mistake the tv might simply refuse to power on so leave it to someone with experience.

61 inch projection tv flashing on and off

The most common problem with JVC LCD rear projection TV is bulb failure. Do not panic, this is normal after 2-5 years of use.

You can change the complete assembly or for less cost just change the bulb. Do not use Osram or other funny brand "rebuilt" or locally made bulb. Use a Philips replacement and all should be good.

Changing the bulb involves removing the lamp assembly and taking it apart like a puzzle and replacing the bulb. JVC are a little more difficult to do than most others because the wires on the original bulb are molded into the glass on the original bulb. Wires must be cut and stripped of insulation before connecting to the new bulb.

All JVC LCD Rear projections TVs use TSCL110 TSCL110U TS-CL110U Lamps.
