Leaking machine hotpoint front load wma64 leaks from detergent tray

Mine leaks "foam" when its on a hot wash (more than 65 degrees C), but not on cooler washes. I think that on mine its the detergent. Hope this helps.

Could be caused by several reasons.
1- Overfilling, check water level .
2-Blockage in dispenser, or dispenser inlet hose to drum
3-Drawer not in properly.
4-M/c not draining properly, thus when it goes into spin, water could be thrown up by centrifugal force, and come out of the front of the drawer.Check filter.
5-Water pressure very high, forcing water out of drawer, adjust pressure.

Read your owner's manual under detergent trays and see if it says anything about holes under trays.

After starting,water goes into the outlet pipe then immediatley leakes out directly under the oulet pipe at the bottom of machine.

The outlet pipe must be routed higher than the top of the washer or it will always drain. this is normal. The leak, however is not, something may be damaged, open and inspect.

Hi - I have a Hotpoint WF220 Front Loader and am getting a small amount of water leaking at the front of the machine underneath. I am trying to take the top off so I canm see where the leak is coming from...

try to open the tray detergent, it seems there is still a screw holding the top cover. and you can search for cap of the screw on the top front cover.

My washer is leaking from the detergent tray.

There is a hose to the tray so it can rinse the detergent inside the machine. The hose can leak, sometimes there is a seal on the tray that can leak also

Water leaking through detergent tray of my Hotpoint WF860

It sounds like the washer is not draining properly.

Remove lower rear cover of washer, locate and remove the large black hose fastened to bottom of tub.
remove plastic filter inside hose, and clean same.
Refit filter and hose, making sure it is on properly.
Be careful when you remove the hose, as there will be water in there.
As an extra precaution, remove soap draw,and thoroughly clean all parts, particularly,the conditioner parts

you may be using too much detergent, or you have a blockage in the outlet.try putting it on to spin to drain out the water, if it does not drain then check the filter or sump hose for a blockage
