When cmera card is inserted into SD port can't download images

You say you have 'activated SD format'. This probably means you have formatted the SD card, thus erasing all the images from it. To download images in the future, remove the SD card from the camera and insert it in a USB card reader attached to your computer.

Put the card in, then select "Copy" from the playback menu. You will then be given the option of copying individual images or all of them. insert your memory card to the sd reader then insert to your computer port .. and then open any image viewer app then import. you should get picasa image viewer

Here is one instructional video tutorial from Sony Support; also could try this procedure:
- Take off your memory stick from your camera and insert it into your memory stick adapter. Open your camera's battery case and gently push the memory stick until you hear a faint "click," then remove it from the camera. Place the memory stick inside the adapter that comes with your camera.
- Insert the adapter into your computer's memory card reader, if you have one. The adapter, which is larger than the memory stick itself, is approximately the same size as an ordinary SD memory card.
- Connect your Sony digital camera to your computer using its USB cable if you can't find or don't have a memory stick adapter. Insert the small end of the USB cable into the camera. Insert the wider, flatter end into one of your computer's USB ports.
- Click "Open Device to View Files" to open your memory stick or camera. Search for the DCIM folder and click on it. Navigate through any photo subdirectories you've created and highlight photos you want to transfer to your computer. Right-click anywhere in a given folder, then click "Copy." Go to the location where you want to store your images, then right-click within that folder. Click "Paste" to transfer your images.

If you notebook does not have a built-in SD card reader, you can purchase an USB SD/memory card reader and connect it to the notebook's USB port.
When the SD card is inserted into the USB card reader the notebook will see the SD card as an external storage device. You can then copy files off this SD card to your notebook etc.

Try downloading the photos off the SD card by inserting the SD card into anUSB card reader and connecting it to a computer's USB port.
This computer should detect the SD card as an external storage device, then you can copy the photo from the SD card to your computer's hard disk.

Using a CardReader, insert your Micro SD card to the CardReader & attached the CardReader to your PC Via the USB cable to the USB port.

You should be able to see the Mico SD Card as a drive on the PC on "My Computer or Windows Explorer". Using the mouse, Right-Click on the drive & click on "Format", Using FAT32 or FAT16 for larger or smaller memory card respectively.

Formatting on any memory cards, will result in erasing all data on the memory cards.

To remove the micro SD card push the micro SD card in further, it will click and then pop out.
To insert the new micro SD card insert it into the phone and push it in until it clicks in.

depending on which card and software some you have to place the game on the sd card under games section others you just download to the sd

Buy a card reader for cheap and download photos using card reader. Remove SD card from camera and insert into card reader, then hookup card reader to computer through USB port. Try Picasa3 free software from Google to download images. Works great and all is inexpensive
