I want to increase the output line volume from my Delphi SKYfi3 radio receiver

I was able to use a regular mini USB cable with no problem. If you do the firmware update and the radio locks up, you can press the volume button and enter button at the same time to reset the stuck radio.

Hold down "power" and "volume up" at the same time to do a reset. You need a 'firmware update' from the Delphi website. Also, you can call Delphi for help too.
What you need to do is simultaneously hold the VOLUME UP button as well as the MODE button. This will reset the unit.

try plugging the DC adapter directly into the buttom of the SKYFI3 - do you still get some sort of a power warning?

You need a special 5 volt 2 amp power supply for the unit, you cannot use your cellphone charger - not enough power.

Press both the MODE key and the Volume control for a few seconds and the unit will re-boot.

Take the sd card out, reboot by holding volume up and menu at the same time for 5 secs, wait for it to fully boot into the music, then put the sd card back in.

You can buy a whole radio for as little as $30. I would even call XM and tell them you're going to cancel because your radio died, and they might sell you one if you guarantee to stay with them for a year?
