If it cycles very irraticly then the temp control could be out of calibration and will need to be replaced. There usually is about a 5-10 degree difference between on and off for the temp control and will be worse with no product in the cooler

My beverage cooler MCBC58DST wont stay cool after it reaches target temp.

Throw it out and get another model from another company. Their units are junk!
They last a year, at best. Them and Magic Chef are one and the same...so you may have to bite the bullet and get a real unit.

Good luck. I speak from experience...I've had four now. Complete junk!!

PTAC stops running after a short time

Sounds like a voltage or amp draw issue. So how about if you only try to run the blower??

McQuay PTAC stops working after short time

Sounds like you need a new control board with thermistors. you probably have a relay that is getting hot and quitting.

Vinotemp wine cooler just stop working.

Ok check the power supply input. Assume you have do e that and all ok. More than likely it could be a thermostat or compressor gas leakage. Has the compressor been running more than usual before it gave up working. Check for rust on the internal coils as sometimes they fail. Depending on what you paid for the wine cooler it may be cheaper to simply replace it. Can highly recommend Delongi 145
litre bar fridge, after replacing several cheaper brands and it is very reliable and cools really well though they are not at the cheap end of the market. You get what you pay for with appliances. Best of luck resolving the problem but if the wine cooler no longer is getting cold but the compressor continues to run, you can bet that it's out if gas from a leak in the internal pipe work and generally not worth attempting to either locate and or repair.

My Haier wine cooler (Model BC112G) has stopped working. Prior to it stopping, the pipes in the lower back became caked with ice. Any ideas what might have broken...and how/if it can be fixed?

let the thing totally defrost (24hrs)with the door open then switch it back on as a first step, the ice on the pipes stops the gas from turning from a liquid to a gas...thats how it cools..

Tc32g unit gets too cold

Too cold usually means temp control switch is out. Temp controller turns the compressor on and off based on the temp. It can be a mechanical switch or a circuit board, but good chance it has failed.

Wine cooler just stopped working. light will come

Try disconnecting all power to the unit for about 10 mins, and turn it back on to see if the compressor will kick in. Also check your temp settings and make sure they are properly set. If that doesnt work, you might have a dead compressor which a tech can look at and verify.
