Steering wheel buttons

I just got a JVC KD-G210 radio for my car. I have 1998 Monte Carlo and it has the volume and scan buttons on the steering wheel. how do i get them to work with my new radio?

JVC radio doesn't work directly with car's steering wheel control. You need an adapter. Metraonlie.com offers pretty reliable ones.

How do I remove the steering wheel trim and replace the turn signal switch on a 1998 monte carlo z34?

If this critter has an airbag in the steering wheel, and I'll bet it does; then you should have this done by a dealer. Pulling the wheel off and replacing the multifunction switch underneath needs to be tended to by a trained person.

Would the wire problem with the brake lites be the same for a 97 monte also, we have tried everything and cant figure it out

the problem is in the turn signal switch I had one of these does your thrid brake light still work? do you have radio controls on steering wheel?

Clock setting

Hold the SEL button down for more than 3 seconds. A sub menu appears. Use the track select arrow key to select the hours, rotate the volume knob to correct hour. Press track select key to select minutes, rotate volume to appropriate minute. press select again to finish. If this doesn't help, go to jvc.com, then go to support, then user manuals, enter model number. You can dowload the entire manual for free.

Connecting to a steering wheel buttons

Unfortuantly the steerring wheel audio controls can only interface with a stock radio. Once you replace the stock radio the buttons are useless and cannot be hooked up to any aftermarket radio, this goes for all makes and models of cars with audio controls on the wheel.

display button works but power button does not After hooking it up I turn it on and it says See Ya then turns off I hit the power button it does not work however when I hit the display button it lights up with the time? Is this a wiring problem or is it an internal problem with the cd player :-/ please any help would be great
