I was getting the same problem until I realised that this is powered from the USB port. I was also getting a core dump when trying to access it from Linux. Try reducing the length of the USB cable from the scanner to the computer and/or use a different USB port. The length of the cable is significant because the volts drop over even a short cable could cause problems. When I had this issue, I had a very long USB cable and it was coming up with error after error, when I used a much shorter one, the problem went away.

Good luck and best wishes,

Martin

Go to Device Manager at USB Controllers and disable Standard Enhaced PCI to USB Host Controller. If you can't find exactly this, disable the one with the word Enhaced in it. Right click it then click disable.

Canoscan Lide 110 driver

Perhaps you have forgotten to unplug the scanner before
scanning? That's what happened to me. I kept getting
different error codes, 5,202,63 or 5,202,52 or 5,202,54 and
also a message that the driver was not in the TWAIN folder.
According to the help file the problem might have been due
to my nfts file system. I also tried downloading various
new drivers. Nothing helped until I noticed that I had not
unplugged the scanner!

Error 5,202,52 on scanner canon lide 110

TO ANYONE READING THIS...I nearly took a hammer and smashed my Canon LIDE 110 Scanner cause I was so mad that it gave me this stupid error (5,202,52) no matter where I was connecting it and I thought it was done...

THEN I just took another USB Cable (Like I have around 10 different USB Cables) ...AND IT WORKED! Try several USB cables before you give up on it...also don't start messing around with drivers and stuff, you could end up screwing up your system like I did...

I hope this helps someone out there in the future with error 5,202,52 or 5,202,54, etc.

Try at least 4-5 different USB cables before anything else..

(If you want to know, I successfully used the USB cable with one of the fat black circle things on it (I think its for power or something), not just a straight usb cable. It's still a 5 pin USB cable however (Regular USB on one side, small 5 pin connecter on the other side))

Canon Canoscan LiDE 110 driver for scanner error code 5,202,54

Please follow below steps .

  1. First, open the "Task Manager" by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Esc.
  2. Then click on the "Services" tab and look for the stisvc service, that is, "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)".
  3. Look at the "PID" column and get the id of the related process.
  4. Then go to the "Details" tab and look for the process with that id, which will be one out of the svchost.exe processes.
  5. Click on that process by the right mouse button and select "End task".
  6. Then go back to the "Services" tab and restart the WIA service by right-clicking on stisvc and selecting "Restart".
Hope it helps and my solution is helpful !

Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 Flatbed code 39

Did the message say:
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

Download the Delete driver application from Canon's website and run it. After deleting this and rebooting, try installing again.
