Perhaps you have forgotten to unplug the scanner before
scanning? That's what happened to me. I kept getting
different error codes, 5,202,63 or 5,202,52 or 5,202,54 and
also a message that the driver was not in the TWAIN folder.
According to the help file the problem might have been due
to my nfts file system. I also tried downloading various
new drivers. Nothing helped until I noticed that I had not
unplugged the scanner!

This seems to work with fink/xsane or the canoscan drivers from their site, but neither as well as you might like.

Hi am gonna provide you with the link from where you can download it, keep it mind that if you have changed operating systems, then the scanner might not be compatible with you current operating system. For instance if you had Windows ME or Windows XP but currently have Windows Vista there might be some compatibility issues. Good Luck! http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownload/Canon-CanoScan-LiDE-Download-816.html
