Look on the back of the pc. There should be a speaker socket (usually Green in coilour) plug the speakers in to there. Alternativly there may be a headphone socket on the front. Use that.

Check to make sure the speakers power up.

Check to make sure you have installed the speakers into the correct jack on the back of the PC.

Go into Control Panel and check the settings by double-clicking the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon. Make sure the Mute box isn't checked and that the volume is turned up.
