Good day, subject: LG microwave oven MS3448XRS not warming contents.Checked High voltage transformer 240 volt AC input-ok.Measure primary winding(0.2-0.4 ohm) measuring 1.1 ohm, secondary winding(70-100

Probably cheaper to buy a new microwave as they maintenance charge can be costly once put on a bench.
I am not able to help with this item.

Checking out a air conditioner compressor and compressor problems
FIRST DISCONNECT ALL ELECTRICAL POWER
Ohm the windings
C to R = example 1.2
C to S = example 3.2
R to S = example 4.4 total of C to R and C to S or very close.

Then ohm each terminal to ground you shouldn't get any reading
If the compressor is hot or you tried to start it, the ohms will be close but not exact.
No reading from C to R or C to S open winding or thermal overload.
Let compressor completely cool down then ohm the C to R and C to S again
If it’s an open overload, you will get an ohm reading after it cools down and the overload closes,
you may just need to add refrigerant.
No reading from R to S and C to S open start winding.
In case of any open windings the compressor will have to be replaced.
If the compressor is getting the proper voltage and won’t start, it could be locked up.
You need an Ammeter to check this to see if it’s drawing locked rotor amps (60 amps or above)
You also need to check the run and start capacitor.
A bad run or start capacitor, the compressor won’t run, it will just hum.
If the compressor will run, but quits after a while and all of the above checks out OK.
It could be drawing high amps ( you will need an ammeter to check this out). Dirty condenser or condenser motor not running, overcharge of refrigerant, shunted windings, bad bearings in compressor.
The compressor gets hot and Suction or big line coming in to outdoor unit is warm or slightly cool, you are low on charge or metering device bad or stopped up.
If compressor runs for a while and quits and the suction line is frozen, cold or cool, then the filter, evaporator or condenser coils are dirty or plugged up, blower or fan motor not running and unit going off on high or low pressure switches.

How do I check the ignition coil

Ignition Coil Primary Circuit Test

Remove the coil. THEN set your ohmmeter scale to RX1 and place ohmmeter leads on the primary coil windings A (front of coil) to B (middle of coil), B to C (front of coil) and check for primary coil winding resistance which normal resistance range is zero point five and zero point seven ohms. If primary resistance is not within this range check out test results below.

Ignition Coil Secondary Circuit Test

With the ignition coil removed from the motorcycle and the ohmmeter set to the RX1K scale place the ohmmeter leads on the secondary coil windings B (middle terminal) to

R (rear secondary terminal/socket), B to F (front secondary terminal/socket) and check for secondary coil winding resistance which normal resistance range will be 5.5-7.5K ohms. If secondary resistance is not within this range check out test results below.

Test Results

A low resistance value indicates a short in the coil winding which requires coil replacement.

A high resistance value might indicate that there is some corrosion/oxidation of the coil terminals requiring the coil terminals to be cleaned and the resistance test then repeated and if after the test is repeated the resistance is still high after the terminals were cleaned the coil must be replaced.

If there is an infinite ohms or no continuity) resistance value the coil is open and must be replaced.

Ge model HSS25gfPH

AT TIMES YOU MAY HEAR THE COMPRESSOR CLICK OFF AND ON OVER AND OVER. Signs of a bad start relay or capacitor. Check with an OHMS meter for continuity (ohms) and voltage, capacitor can be checked for Microfares.
To check ur compressor with multi meter:
Disconnect and remove the relay and capacitor from compressor, somes located next to compressor in a casing.

You wills see 3 prongs coming out of compressor. 1 goes to ur srtart winding, 1 goes to ur run winding and the center goes to ur ground.

Place ur meter connector or prong on the start prong and the other on the ground (center prong) take note of the reading in OHMS for example 5 ohms.
Next place meter prong on run prong and the center ground prong agin. Take note of the reading in OHMS. Example 4 ohms

Next place meter prong on the start prong and the other on the run prong, now take note of the reading example 9 ohms. Now match the total of this ohms test with the total of ur two separate test. 9 ohms, if they match ur ok give or take 5 percent plus or minus. One more test to make to test of there is a short in compressor attach meter prong to ground prong and rub the other end of meter prong to metal ( scrape the metal clean of paint and test on metal surface not painted surface. If it shows continuity or ohms , u have a short in ur compressor. It should show infinity

1998 FLHT wont fire up

Are there any codes. Does it backfire?

To start you need spark at the plugs, fuel in the induction module or tubes and compression in the combustion chamber. Have you checked any or all of these???

As a starting point install NEW plugs and also:

Ignition Coil Primary Circuit Test
Remove the coil. THEN set your ohmmeter scale to RX1 and place ohmmeter leads on the primary coil windings A (front of coil) to B (middle of coil), B to C (front of coil) and check for primary coil winding resistance which normal resistance range is 0.5-0.7 ohms.

1996 Mitsubishi Galant no spark, no fuel , both died at the same time?

another you have to check, the igniter(ignition coil) and high wire (ignition system). ignition coil must be ranges from 9000 ohms to 12000 ohms(secondary winding) and 0.5 ohms to 1.0 ohm (primary winding)
and check the fuel filter and the carburator(for the fuel system). the system must be free from any dirt and no trapped air.

What are the ohm reading, and voltage reading on the evap motor?

Ohm reading is the resistance value of the motor windings. This is a small capacity motor so it's winding resistance will be high. Somewhere around 180 to 350 ohms.
Voltage reading is the electrical pressure that the motor winding can withstand. If the voltage of the source exceeds that of the motor rating than the windings will burst ( burning out the motor) If the source is less than the voltage rating of the motor then the motor will run too slow.

Flashing ch21

Ch21 refers compressor runs high current. Due to
1. Condenser coil dust blocked- Clean it.
2. Condenser fan motor less rpm or struck- Replace capacitor or motor.
3. Compressor windings weak- Check by ohms. If single phase, the ohms of SR should be the total of CS & CR. If 3 ohase all winding ohms should be equal (1 &2, 1&3, 2&3). If not replace compressor.
Thanks and hope helpful.

start winding should read:15 ohms
run winding should read 45 ohms
ground should read: zero ohms
run and.start should read 60 ohms
your compressor motor is burned out

Small refrigerator compressor overload relay cuts out

I am told if you measure two terminals and note the two with the highest resistance. Then measure each of the two terminals with the highest resistance to the common terminal they the two additional readings should read the same as the two terminals with the highest resistance when adding them together. If after adding the two there is more than 1/2 ohm difference one of the windings is shorted.
