It doesn't cool, and in freezer side its
If this is happening while compressor is running normally , first check temperature of condenser coils (black tubing)while running. If hot to touch, compressor is ok.(Good news)If not hot ,it's shot,or your defrost heater stuck on.(not likely)
If compessor not coming on at all it could be a control problem.eg thermostat ,or stuck defrost timer.
If compessor wants to come on or you hear clicking ,suspect start relay or start capacitor.
hope this helps

My Whirlpool ET8WTKXKT0 doesn't cooling
Its the problem with compressor,The problem is weak compressor. The refrigerant ( R12) in the
compressor is got low.The compressor is weak. The compressor needs to be
replaced.-------------- The working procedure of this unit is as follows: --- The
compressor starts then it cools the freezer section. When the freezer reaches
its cooling level the defrost cycle starts functioning. In this cycle the fan
in the freezer section starts running and the cool air in the freezer section
is passed to the fridge section and the fridge section gets cold. The air from
freezer to refrigerator passes from the section, in that section the damper is
located.------------ But as you mentioned that freezer not cooling this indicates
problem with compressor. When compressor cools the freezer section then fridge
section gets cold.If freezer section is not getting properly cold then fridge
section will not cool properly/.So the problem relates to compressor.----------
In the compressor there is a refrigerant called FREON.With the help of this
Freon the compressor cools the freezer section.Freon is a gaseous type cooling
agent. The compressor will stop cooling when coolant gets leaked from its
chamber.--------- Again recharging the Freon is possible, but the cost for that
recharging is approx the cost of new compressor. So its always advisable to get
compressor replaced.Because new compressor has warranty for few
years.------------------ You can get required parts from from online sites like: ---
www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site. --------- This

My freezer is not freezing
Follow the steps mentioned below to solve the problem:
First remove the ice bin and look inside the mold of the ice maker to see if it is full of ice. If the ice sensing arm is down ( on position) and the ice maker is full of ice, there is a failure inside the ice maker and the ice maker should be replaced.
If there is no ice in the ice maker, look at the fill tube on the rear of the ice maker. If the fill tube is frozen up the ice maker can't fill.
You can defrost the fill tube with a hair dryer.
The water valve on the rear of the refrigerator supplies water to the water dispenser and the ice maker. Since the water dispenser is working, the only line that could be blocked runs up the back of the cabinet and attaches to the fill tube for the ice maker. The water valve could be bad and not sending water to the ice maker.
If the fill tube freezes again you should replace the water valve.
Hope this helps.

My refrigerator leaks from the
You have a problem with either the defrost system or the drain tube in your freezer it plugged. Remove the contents of your freezer and remove the freezer's back panel. If you see that the cooling coil is a block of ice, then you have a defrost problem. Typical problems with the defrost system are the heating element burning out and failing or the defrost timer failure if your refrigerator is an older model. If you see a pool of ice buildup on the bottom of the freezer section, your drain tube might be plugged. That can be fixed by using a hair dryer to melt the ice and use a turkey baster to flush the tube clear. Hope this helps you.
