Possible that the agitator or the drum is out of alignment or damaged. You need to take a closer look at the drum and agitator play to confirm that the clothes are getting entangled on them to tear off. If so the bearings or the damage on the drum must be rectified.

When there is a large load of clothes in the washer my washer does not spin fast enough to get the water out of my clothes, what is wrong with my washer?

You don't have to fill too much the washer, leave 1/4 of the cylinder free (if it's a front load washer) or check the maximum level for the top-load washer.
Be careful not to compress the clothes.
The weight that the washer can manage is the weight of the WET clothes.

More technically: the washer need to balance the drum before to spin-dry and for this it needs some free room in the drum. There is a sensor that check that there isn't too much vibrations during the spin-dry, otherwise it stops!

Washer depositing oily stains on clothing HELP

Best way is the old fashioned way. Purchase some soda chrystals and pop them in ur drw. The same amount as you would normally use in detergent powder. Then put the washer on the hottest setting and wash the machine out. Do not put any clothes in the washer at the same time though. This will clean the washer it may take a couple of attempts to clean but doing this once a month will keep on top of it.

Hope this helps

4 cyl 5 speed. oil comes out and sreads a ring

It sounds like you front main crankshaft seal is worn out and leaking, the job is quite involved and if you are going to tackle it buy a haynes repair manual and a flywheel puller if you are not mechanically skilled I would not recomend this job. If you are going to tackle the job replace the water pump and timing belt while your in there the oil will degrade the belt and failure will result within a year.

Rust from washer getting on clothes

Don't let anything sit in the washer. When it's done running, take the clothes out. You can get a product called rust reverser. It has to be applied to a dry surface.
