I had the same problem... someone here helped me :). My e250 also showed there was nothing on there (but I could see there was 206 songs). Windows Media Player showed the status of the e250 and how much memory was remaining... but duh showed nothing on it. Hmmm.

Go to settings (on the e250 player) and change the USB mode to MTP.
Go into My Computer, then your Tools menu and change your setting to SHOW all hidden files and folders.
Apparently anything I loaded on there was "hidden" and now can be seen. Worked for me! Woohoo. Good Luck ;)

Hi i want to know how to delete a song from my sansa clip mp3 player made by sandisk

Use Windows Media Player to delete the songs. Connect the Sansa to the computer, open Windows Media Player, and go to the Sync tab -if it asks you if you want to sync the songs automatically, tell it "no." Find the songs on your player in the Sync tab and left-click a song that you don't want. Hit delete on your computer's keyboard.

Cannot delete the songs on mp3

I do mine through Windows Media Player
1)Plug in Sansa
2)Open up Windows Media Player and wait for the Sansa e250 icon to show up under the library. First time, might say 'What device is this' or 'Autoplay'-for autoplay, you click 'sync media files to Sansa e250 using WIndows Media Player'
3)When library shows, click 'Sync' if it is not already there.
4)Just simply click and drag the songs you want from the computer library to the list pane on the side.
5)Once your done, click 'Sart sync'

TO DELETE
1)Plug in
2)Wait for the icon under Library in WIndows Media Player
3)Go to Songs under Sansa e250
4)Right click desired songs and choose Delete. You only want to delete from Sansa e250-nothing else

My sansa e250

If you want to delete EVERY track off the player, then reformat the player in Windows Media Player - it's a shortcut - see my "tips and tricks" on formatting mp3 players

If there are artist, album traces, then you need to click on every subfolder under your device in Windows Media Player and delete every trace that way - tedious, but effective

There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details

If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files
