Home theater system was working fine playing music, then a power flicker occured at the end of my lunch as i was leaving. Then when after dinner i went to play a episode of Survivors, there was a very noticeable echo between the front left and right speakers. I have been through the settings in case something was reset such as the phase, delay etc and the issue is not resolved. The speakers do work with the test tone, I have reversed the polarity of the speaker wire, the receiver is plugged into a surge bar, i have even swapped the speaker wire between the two speakers. The rear speakers and subwoofer are working fine. I have tried multiple inputs, such as my iphone playing music through a 3mm to stereo cable, changing HDMI cables and where that cable is input (BD, etc) and the delay is still there. The Center speaker is also not affected.
Try resetting it:

Testimonial: "Thank you, i will keep that in mind for the future. i didnt see that page in the manual. it is working now, what worked is disconnecting all the speaker cables while the unit was powered off, turn the unit on, then back off. reconnect the speaker wire, and then turn on the main unit. I am pretty sure it reset "auto" phase speaker wire length., "

solution to ipod problem some ipods do not work in directly with after market sterios some do now a good solution is to go to your local radio shack buy the rca jack one end proper male femal connectors on one end then head phone jack on the other this will play anything its just like the old days when you had to buy that clunky tape with head phone jack attachted it works all the time make sure ipod is powered so that it wont loose power while playing its kinda old school stuff but works since most ipod products dont work with aftermarket sterios

make sure your jack is pressed all the way in your IPod
SOURCE: I can't figure out how to wire the speaker output
There are two ways you can do this.
First by using the RCA Cables, simply plug the Red and White RCA Cables into the RCA Inputs of the Amplifier. If the Stereo unit only has Two RCA Cables then a splitter can be purchased, turning two into four.
This will give a better sound but you loose the ability to balance the front and back from the head unit.
The second way is to use the High Level inputs. These inputs are connected directly to the wired speaker leads from the stereo plug. Make sure you wire the + and - inputs correctly into the amplifier, and use good quality connecting wires as this method tends to "pick up" more noise along the way.
The first method is the best sounding way, and you can adjust the balance between the front and back using the "gain" control on the Amplifier.
I hope this helps, please let me know how you go.
