All the information for that is usually located on the tag where the model and serial number are at. Electrical specs are 220v a/c 60hz. I can't recall the amperage. If you don't have the owners manual you can go to www.apdepot.com and get one

SOURCE: oven does not work,no display.

the display board itself would be the culprit, the part might be under warranty,if under 5 years consult manual or manufacturer for coverage....the part is probably expensive

Testimonial: "It appears as though this will require a repair person with all the parts. Nothing I can do on my own. Thank you for the input."

SOURCE: how to remove the control panel on Whirlpool double oven Model RBD305PDS14

Emge & Associates is investigating gas and electric ovens manufactured by Whirlpool, including such popular brands as Whirlpool, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid and Maytag.
The firm is investigating reports that the electronic control panel on certain models is subject to failure after a limited number of uses of the appliance’s “self-cleaning” setting. While most foods are cooked at temperatures reaching 375 degrees, the “self-cleaning” setting raises the interior oven temperature to 1,400 degrees. Due to defects in the design and or manufacturing, the electronics contained on many ranges are damaged by extremely high heat. Repairs to damaged control panels typically cost in excess of $300 per replacement.
If you have experienced failure of the control panel in your range after using the “self-cleaning” setting, you can join this investigation by contacting Emge & Associates at (800) 629-3409 or (619) 618-2974.

How to install GE JKP35DPBB 27" Double Electric

The specs for this double oven give a rating of 5.1kW at 208V so it needs a 30 Amp circuit breaker. This assumes that the oven is the only appliance on the circuit. So you should be able to use the same circuit breaker.

A bigger consideration is that the opening for the double oven needs to be larger than that of the single oven. If the opening does not have a solid bottom, it must be able to support a heavier load. The runners and braces under a single oven has to support 200 pounds (91 kg). A double oven must have braces and runners designed to hold 375 pounds (171 kg).

Also check if your household uses aluminum wiring. The new oven has copper and problems will occur at the interface if you do not use the appropriate precautions. (Products designed for mating copper and aluminum are available - follow the directions).

I hope this helps.

(btw: you can find the User's Guide and Installation manual for the double oven at GE's website: http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SpecPage&Sku=JKP35DPBB . See the section Literature and Manuals on the left hand side of the page below the picture of the oven.)

Teperature i snot rising above 100, why?

Assuming your Thermador is electric, and it is only warming up a little, this is usually one of three things:

1. Heating element - with oven power disconnected, check that the elements resistance is in spec. Usually around 20 ohms.

2. Thermistor - this senses the temperature of the oven. Again, check the resistance. Depending on your model, it should be around 1050ohms at room temperature.

3. Electronic Control Board. These can be rebuilt quickly and reliably at www.fixyourboard.com. Some are still available to buy online.

Hope that helps

I need to know which kind of plug is used on this oven so that the electricians can install the right kind of receptacle. Maytag cwe5800acs 24 Double electric wall oven

Your oven needs to be hard wired to a junction box. No plugs on a oven that pulls 30 or more amps 220v Read your install book that came with the oven.

Whirlpool Double Oven RBD305 Display doesn't show, oven wont work

Most definitely a bad control board and/or soldered components. (The part about cutting power to the oven was a dead giveaway)
There are low and high temperature solders, but usually solder melts at 370° F. If the oven is improperly insulated or ventilated you will have continued heat stress to the control board.
