Error code E20 E21, machine seems fine but wont activate motor. Could a factory reset fix this? Any idea of the key sequence?

Simple th E means error That e20 then mean error 20 which mean timing will need to be restet .check on the timing bello or beside the display start reduce the timing and the problem solve.

the electronics lock out during power surges like you would get from brush failure giving e 21 error. you have to access service test prog to reset this, and it is not in public domain.
i do know how to reset it though but difficult to explain on this forum you may find a you tube video if you search online.

The E20 error code is a class code that indicates a drain problem in the washer. This is consistent with the drain and spin problem that you are observing. To determine the exact error code, follow these steps:

Wake the machine by pressing any button

Wait 5 seconds

Press and hold the START and PAUSE/CANCEL buttons simultaneously

The exact error code (E21, E23 or E24) will be displayed.

If E23 or E24 are displayed, you will normally need to replace the control board due to a failed drain pump relay.

If the E21 code is displayed, I recommend that you follow these troubleshooting tips:

Check the washer drain to see if it is clogged.

Check the washer drain hose for a clog or restriction.

Make sure that the washer drain system complies with the installation instructions for the washer.

Try to gravity drain the washer by placing the drain hose in a bucket on the floor. If the washer will gravity drain, you may be able to

unplug the washer

and remove the bottom front service panel using the procedure in the image below. Arrange towels to catch residual water that may be in the washer and check the pump filter and drain trap for a clog or debris. If you find no clog or debris, then you may need to replace the drain pump. NOTE: You should not attempt this procedure unless you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely access and check the pump. Do not disassemble the drain pump hose if the washer is full of water.

Family error code "E20" means difficulties in draining, but I never heard for error code E25 on this model. Could be : E21, E23 and E24 error code.

E20 is a master code for two sub-codes E21 and E22, both of which need taking a look at the electronic board. Best to call the service engineer.

first of all, start with you close the door,you put the set on and continue please

check drain pump for obstruction, (access from rear panel) pull hose boot from tub and ck basket in hose. read tech sheet for code definition while your there. have plenty of towels and wet vac ready

e20 is a draining issue.check your filter is clean.if this is ok suspect a bloackage in the waste hose or faulty or jammed drain pump impellor

For a solution to your dilemma, I recommend that you first replace the brushes, then to reset the error code C9 hold down the pre-wash & short wash together and turn the control knob from off to gentle spin. this sequence should clear the C9 from your washer.
