The led remains on even after its removed from the usb port.....the device is working properly as a pen drive ........but it fails to play any song........its affecting battery......... please send me a solution............it seems to be a big problem to me......... thanking u.........

Have you pressed in the reset button on the side with a pen (or similar) until you heard or felt a click and held it in for a few (3-5) seconds, while unattached to a computer?

Hello sir,
Dont worry,your pen drive is not damaged, and you can easily recover your data without any problems..

For that,you have to go to transcend website and download this software;
(http://www.transcendusa.com/products/online_recovery.asp) and then you have to select repair and save data..

and then also if you dont get ur full data,you can download Pen drive recovery from many sites(search on google) and recover or else email me at [email protected] for full software..

If your computer affected by virus will not show in the pc .so you will install it to another pc,and format it .Flash drive can not recocknize,becayse there are some reason .

Hellow sir, I am mahesh. I have transcend 4GB pen drive (JF V10). My problem is, When i connected pen drive to my pc then it could not start but it was shown in my computer as a removable disk and...
its just simple MAHESH...

1st if your pen drive has no data inside.. don't hesitate to reformat it.. then try again..

2nd check the device manager on your computer if the pen drive of yours was updated with its USB port.. just look for the UNKNOWN DEVICE in the USB port in the bottom of the device manager..

if there's no name of UNKNOWN DEVICE it means you must go to the settings of your pen drive..

just right click your pen drive then properties,, then look for the AUTO PLAY then select the action to perform..

then apply and ok... now close all documents then go to my computer and right click your pen drive and click the AUTO PLAY if its work... restart your pc... then its done... ^_^

Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Health

Sandisk 4gb won't open, shows 0 bytes free and 0 bytes used! The orange light is just on but I can't access it. Furthermore, when I try to eject it, a warning says "it's in use and data will be lost.."
came a cross similar problems with San disk this product is not worth a penny
even non branded flash pens works better then this piece of ****
sorry guys but this is the facts tried my level best useing all the tools possible even their own tool couldn't detect the disk its 4gb showing 64 MB only

Pen drive unable to Read
Have you tried to use the pen drive in another computer. If the pen drive does not work in another pc then this pen drive could be fried. There is whats called "Safety Removal Hardware" This should be used before removing any hardware from the pc. Also have you ensured that all the updates have been carried out on that computer?

If your usb port is working properly your computer should pick up the the pen drive as soon as you put it in the usb port if not goto add and remove hardware and check to see if the diver is up to date .hope this works for you let me know ok
