Check the Version of your USB via device manager see if it's version 2(USB 2.0 Root Hub), if so the problem might be the JetFlash it self, if not, you can down load a version 2 USB thru Microsoft.com :) hope this help

How can i remove write protect from my 4 GB transcend pen drive

Hi Virus or Trojans can run some process that keeps running in background. This not only harms the computer, but also prevents the pen drive from formatting as it shows that the drive is in use. Remove and re-insert the pen drive, don't double click on drive and cancel auto run operations if it starts automatically. Run a virus scan on pen drive, this will help fix the issue. Now format the pen drive.
