The resistors are all marked with bands which denote the value---just check them with a ohm meter===no need to replace out of hand.
When you replace the chips: remove all the old white grease and apply fresh heat sink compound (thermal transfer grease.
I see lots of people who want to "change everything" and usually get in trouble----for the most part these parts are either good or bad.
You will need the original Hitachi remote when done to adjust convergence in the Decam mode.
Testimonial: "thanks for the details, i have only one that needs replacing it is reading like 127 when ohming it on the board and it was burnt a little so i suspected this one to be bad anyways, thanks again."
Your TV most likely has one or more possible problems.
Problem #1: Convergence Chip Failure ( common problem )
Here are some of the most common symptoms and example photos of a convergence problem
Here is a quick test....
Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.
Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.
You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.
If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem. Solution #1
You need to replace the convergence chips and convergence resistors. Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together a kits for most models. If you don't see a kit for your set send them a quick note and they will put one together for you. Their kits include a photo instruction guide, original OEM Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, pico fuses, etc.
Problem #2 CRT Fluid is Cloudy
Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos aroundimages.

set after fluid change
Solution #2
What you will need to do is replace the coolant and clean the crt. You can get a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com that includes replacement coolant, photos. instructions, etc.
SOURCE: 3 resistors and IC's replaced, still have convergence problem
Do you have B+ and B- voltages to the convrgence circuit? What is th Brand and Model and I can tell you where to look.
SOURCE: Resistor ohm values??????
RK42 = 2.2 , RK46 = 1.5 , RK58 = 3.3 , RK52 = 1.8 , RK 50 = 2.2 , RK54 = 1.5
SOURCE: i need the resistor values for RK42, RK46, RK50,
If it is 53uwx10B:
RK42 2.2 OHM 1 WATT
RK46 1.5 OHM 1 WATT
RK50 2.2 OHM 1 WATT
RK54 1.5 OHM 1 WATT
RK58 2.7 OHM 1 WATT
RK62 1.8 OHM 1 WATT
Double check the numbers on the STK chips as most of these sets use STK-392-110 OR 392-150 CHIPS-----ONLY A FEW OTHER MODELS(MOST 43 INCH USE THE 120 CHIP.)
