My washer won't turn on- I have tried to get it to run in any of the cycles, but it acts entirely dead. I checked the outlet for power and that is fine. Also tried it with the lid down, and that didn't matter. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Guy, Im assuming that this won't even fill. You will have to see if you are getting power to the timer. Remove the end caps of the consol by just pulling them off. Remove the two phillips securing the consol (under the end caps) and flip the consol up. Should be a tech sheet under there. With the timer in start, see if you have 120V to black wire going into the timer, just take it to ground. If you do, remove the cabinet by removing the snap springs on each side. Bypass the lid switch and check the voltage to the inlet valves. Should have 120V. to the valve. If so and it's not filling, you have a clogged or bad valve. If you don't have the power there, you have a bad timer...Catriver..post back.
