Hi, I have replaced all the white hoses on the top and bottom drawer, i installed new top lid and actuators. The top drawer is still leaking and i am out of ideas. How much room does the lid need to clear the dishes? we have some tall plates and i wonder if they are keeping the lid from closing. When i do the test the lid closes freely with no hang up. Any ideas would be a big help

I have a small piece of plastic stuck in the drain hose of my fisher paykel top dish washer drawer. I have tried cable wire but it does not budge after about 3 inches. Is there a way to remove the bottom...

There are two pieces of drain house in a double drawer FP dishwasher. The one from top drawer, the one from bottom drawer which then merge into a U adapter before hoing as a single hose into the kitchen sink.
I don't think anything can be achieved by taking the bottom drawer out. If the obstruction is in the top drawer drain hose, you will have to take that out and turn it over and disengage the hose from the bottom of the sump. Your best bet is to refer to this install guide on removing the drawers. Refer page 7 step 2.

Use reverse method to put it back in. Make sure you keep a stool nearby to hold the drawer in place and not let it fall on the floor. The cables and hoses are very tight and need care when handling.

Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer: I flooded it by using wrong soap. It was flashing F1 but I solved this by drying it out after removing the bottom drawer. That problem is solved but now the top drawer is...

Most likely the lid seal is dislodged and is obstructing the bottom drawer. Need to manually operate the lid seal actuator yoke and motor to bring the seal back to normal position. Can be messy.
Will need to get the bottom drawer out from housing and work on lid seal assembly located in the main housing.

Fisher & paykel fault "F1" is displayed on the top

hello
F1 means the flood sensor senses water at base of machine at PC board.
You need to take out bottom drawer and check for water puddle under where the drawer was.If there is water you can get the machine going again by comletely drying it out(F1WILL CLEAR),but it still means you have a leak. With bottom drawer out you can really see whats going on.Once F1 is clear you can actually run upper drawer and see if it leaks. Most likely culprit are the lid actuators.Replace all 4 . It'll run like new.Don't overload drawer .That can cause lid leak too. Also the PC board may be damaged and may start to go crazy giving fake F1 codes.$80 easy fix.
good luck

I have a fisher & paykel dishwasher. It has 2 drawers and the top drawer is stuck. It will open if I force it, so i'm using the bottom drawer. It just recently happened. Is it hard to fix?

The lid seal of the top drawer is broken or has come off. To get to it you will have to take the two drawers out carefully along with the cables and hoses intact.

Then feel the top underside of the cabinet for the lid seal. Depending on the problem it will have to be replaced. There is an intricate mechanism of actuator arms and motors that drive it. I hope these are ok.

If you are lucky maybe the drawer has just come off the rails and you could put it back and it will be ok.

Fisher and paykel DD603ss ,bottom draw does not slide out easy,,,,

Hi- Most likely the lid is stuck in the down, or partially down position. This is usually caused by the lid actuators (motors) not returning the lid to its full up position and therefore the drawer top is dragging on the lid gasket. Replacing the lid actuators should resolve the problem. You'll need a F/P tech to change those for you. Hope this helps.

F 1 Error, blinking, beeping and will not stop even when turned off, so we had to turn the circuit breaker off to stop the noise.

You have a leak.
Either from the top lid seal or bottom lid seal. A s time goes by the water level activates the sensor causing the beep. It won't do anything until you fix the leak.

Top drawer stuck, lid lock motor bad and guide bars, if white guides , need to replace with black. Tech said $580 for Fisher Paykel DD603-SS Motors and guides

That's right you will need New Black lid Actuators fitted top and bottom also new retro link supports if you still have the factory plastic ones and maybe a new RFI module if you'd had a F1 fault. Sounds like you've been told this, so now all you need is to get quotes for all these parts to be fitted at a cheaper price. cheers

Fisher and paykel leak

most likely the actuators are bad. with the unit off push and hold the lock and start buttons, lock first then start, after about 6 seconds the display will flash 188. press the power button, ho will be displayed. push the start button until Ld is displayed. open the drawer in question and push the lock button and watch the lid both sides should go down evenly, push the lock key to move it up and down as needed. push the power button to exit diagnostics. if you notice that the lid doesn't go down evenly or if one side stays up replace the actuators, they come as a pair. call a dealer/servicer to order actuators. make sure to specify top or bottom as there is a difference. hope this helps
