Is there a WiFi card that works with the e405?

I've tried a couple and they didn't work, but that was 3 years ago.  Is there anything new?

I have a Socket SD 802.11b WiFi card. Works great, but it's old. I'm not sure you can still get the same one. The good news is that there are probably better ones on the market today. More info on the manufacturer's website: http://www.socketmobile.com/products/embedded-wireless-communications/wi-fi/

Hi, i have an hp pavilion ze2000 with the built in wireless adaptor. its been sitting in a box for 4 years because the ac power stem was 'broken'. i took the laptop apart and fixed that and the...

well it can only be 2 things,
the card is bad, and the do go bad.
or the drivers are wrong
why not find the true name if the card, on the card
the using HP.COm use the correct driver for that card.
HP can uses 2 or 3 different cards, some have blutooth.
its not just one offered.

this LP is old, its seems its got XP on it,? the virus magnet.
why not get a newer LP say year 2010 and newer with W7 or newer
so you get both HP and MS support.
ze2000 tells us nothing much sorry
that is not a product number.
this info here is the only why to get the correct drivers
there IS NO OTHER WAY,
go to hp.com they ask you then same thing,
do so.,
one trick if say there are 3 wifi drivers, for say XP and only on your exact machine at HP.com
then run all 3 drivers, 2 will fail, and 1 will not.
this is an HP secret, saves pulling card out and reading its words.

but after talking to HP
its no longer supported, its over 12 years old,

its listed on RETIRED page, (MEANS END OF LIFE)

Hi,

If happens you already replace the card and still doing same thing, It only means that the slot for the card is faulty, Its already a motherboard problem. But try updating the BIOS and see if its going to fix the problem, if not its the motherboard that have a problem.

Hi, I'm having a problem with my new dryer. We got this dryer about a year ago and for some reason in the last couple months, almost every 2 weeks the fuze blows. The dryer turns on but it doesn't...

Makecertain that your wiring is not exposed to anything. Be sure to turn the power off to the dryerand check the outlet. Also check to seeif your dryer cord is connected to the dryer right. Usually the outer prongs on the dryer are thehot and in the inner one is the ground.
