I HAVE A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, THAT PLAYS THE SOUND WITH NO PICTURE. ALL I SEE ON THE SCREEN IS BLUE JUMPING LINES,EVERY NOW AND THEN, THERE ARE RED ONES ALSO.
My experience, and everyone else I know of or have heard from, is that Apex does not support their equipment. In some cases I have fixed TVs or other items when an off the shelf part was available. If the problem is something that is specific to them you'll never find the part. If you call them they will promise to deliver the part till the cows come home, but don't hold you're breath as I expect you will pass out from lack of oxygen! You're problem sounds like either a software problem or a board problem. Neither is probably going to be reparable. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Based on your information given maam, I can say that your LCD is not working well but sometimes it happens that there is a problem on its connection to circuit board..This is usually I encounter maam as a most experienced technician.Thanks.
If its the red white and blue AV cable on both ends yes you can. If its a red white and blue AV on one end and a audio looking jack on the other end you can too. They sell all those cords at Radio shack or most electronic stores.
you can try moving the laser lens that reads the dvd's just don't touch the lens just move that little square it's attached. all you have to do is move it back or forth just a little and leave it and try the cd and if that don't work just keep on moving it around until it reads. it'll work i had that problem on my dvd player and my playstation.
