Hello Tom, the F5 error means that the control board has detected a internal error within itself and the control board needs to be replaced. The F5 can be cleared by pushing the cancel/off button and if it retrurns the control board would defiently need to be replaced.

Most commonly that is a runaway temperature error which usually means the temperature probe is bad and needs to be replaced. If you need more detailed instruction or help making this repair visit the link below: Appliance Repair Help With Live Chat
What the F5-E1 error code means is that the door lock asm. is not operating so when its suppused to close and lock the door to self clean it cant do it since something is wrong with the latch/lock assambly
Some of the things that would need to be checked to see why the latch isn't working are; the latch position switch, the latch itself to be good and opening/closing, & the part called the soloniod that is what operates the latch so it could open or close
The F5-E1 error code means that one of the switches on the door latch hasn't fully set itself to the door open(non clean) mode. One thing to try is to open the oven door and push the light switch in by hand while pushing the clean button on the control and see if the latch will open just a little more thusly the switch will open a bit more into the normal mode.
If by pushing the clean button...waiting 5 minutes (whith the door open)then push cancel and see if the latch fully opens..the door latch switch would need to be replaced.
The part number for the latch asm. which includes the switch is W10107820
Is the display showing E0-F5?
The Self-Cleaning latch may be interfering with the oven
door causing the Self-Cleaning cycle not to work. If the oven door is
open and will not lock, press Stop/Clear to clear the display, press
and hold the door switch plunger (located in the upper-right corner of
the oven front), and the door latch will unlock. If the oven door is
closed and locked, press Stop/Clear to clear the display; apply
pressure to the upper-right corner of the oven door, and the door will
unlock. Is the display showing E"#"-F"#," for example, E1-F2?
You will need to schedule service.
look for the door/ light switch (the door would normally have this pushed in),and press and hold it in, tricking the unit into thinking the door is actually closed. press the clean button then, see what happens. it should try to close itself entirely and then press the cancel button, it should return to normal resting position
